Hollands Track Farm has been around since 1965, when Malcolm and Cathie got it going.
Their son Nick and his wife Lucy have taken on sharing the work and responsibilities on the farm and integrated a different farming process.
The Kelly Family credit the wonderful, fresh change to their farm to the regenerative and organic farming principles which the family has adopted and embraced on their 1500-hectare Hollands Track Farm, in Newdegate over the past few years.
They are now one of the biggest certified organic egg suppliers in WA.
The Kelly Family plan to bring more diversity onto their farm, while building a system where they can be directly in touch with those enjoying their product and wish to connect with a like-minded community who can’t be farmers themselves but still want to be a part of it, and further learn where and how their food is produced.
Not everyone can be or has what it takes to become a farmer but, you can be a part of their story, while also gaining a greater understanding and sense of where your food comes from. You can connect with the Kellys and help them grow their herd while securing a healthy beef supply for you and your family.

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE MEMBERSHIP
In brief Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a membership model that helps farmers distribute risk when there are unexpected increases or decreases in supply, and to manage their production as per known demand. In sharing some of the farmers’ risk, a CSA is a system that connects the Farmer and Member in both food production and consumption.
The farmer commits to producing a product that the member commits to steadily receiving and accepting, while building a like-minded community.
We have two types of Membership with 3 options each.
Our recommendation is Major Membership – All In. You get a total of 140kg over 12 months, with 4 to 5 deliveries spread out over 12 months. They can be between 20kg and 35kg per delivery. The beef price is fixed, you are the first to be supplied when we have a delivery going through (we call to check in if you are ready for an order), you get member prices for events, and are first to be notified of events, and a one-night stay on Hollands Track Farm B&B amongst other member perks.
This works out to $2800 plus $110 Membership setting up fee. When you continue your membership after the 12 months you do not need to pay the setting up fee again.
Pickup of your orders will be from our selected butcher unless other arrangements have been made.
Beef cuts included can be but are not limited to, roasts, diced, minced, slow cooker cuts, osso bucco, various steaks, stew and bones. Fat and offal optional and on demand.
We are slowly building up our CSA-Membership and in the meantime as a taster we are offering almost the same price for one off orders – $25 per kg with a minimum of 20kg. However, as our membership grows, our members will be serviced first.
As we have started making Tallow products our beef fat has become very precious to us and therefore, we only offer it to our CSA members on demand.
To grow our community, we host a variety of events. Currently we are working on a Burger Night and a Steak Night. Our annual Field Day is already locked in for the 25th of May. On our Field Day, you come out to the farm and get to know us while enjoying a stroll on our beautiful farm. It will be a fun day with great food and activities.
